Excerpt from the diary of Jeemie Robertson, Sunday 30th April, 1899.
"...I rose at 11 am and after dressing had a tune on the violin. We all
then agreed as Frank was home to get a photograph of the family,
and accordingly Bobby went along for Johnny Ratter. The old man
came down in the park to be in the group which surprised us about
equal to an earthquake. There was a strong breeze of wind blowing
and it made the job awkward for the photographer. We took three of
the family group and then the old folk went in and the rest of us went
to Harrison's south station at Bob Laing's old shed and took a photo
of ourselves...."
